Registration: Players can now register and pay dues for the 2017 Rugby Season. REGISTER HERE
The www.lamarrugby.com website has been updated with the latest Season Schedule and registration information. This season, Dues will include the CIPP/Insurance registration with USA Rugby. Complete and submit the registration form, you will then be directed to a secure site where you can pay your Season Dues (this years dues include your USA Rugby CIPP fees).
Corporate Sponsorship: This season we are looking to Host other teams, this means we will need to rent fields, this requires funds. Pleas consider asking your employer, parents, relatives for donations. All donations are 100% tax deductible, Lamar Rugby is funded via a 501 C 3 Charitable Organization. Season Kick off Meetings: We are currently looking to schedule a parent meeting as well an open season social. If you have ideas for locations and dates, please let us know (you can use the comments section below).
Training: Practices will begin late November with a couple clinics for those new to Rugby.

First Tournament in League City
For this tournament only, there will be 8 teams participating. The additional 2 are from Louisiana and will participate in this first tournament only. MATCH LENGTH: ALL GAMES will be 7 minute halves.
The teams will be split into 2 pools of 4 where they will play a round robin over 3 rounds, totaling to 12 games. Each team will have played 3 games at this point. Tie breakers for standings are as follows:

Lamar has started training for the summer 7s. Tuesday's and Thursday's, 4:30-6:30 at Gregory Lincoln, up until school lets out, then shifting to 6-8pm.

St Thomas hosted Lamar and Strake for a night of preseason scrimmaging on Friday January 22nd. Thanks to St Thomas and to all of the players and coaches who turned out.
St Thomas hosted Lamar Rugby in a combined training session last night. Lamar learned heaps about discipline and structure. Good turnout!!
